Delta Dip

The weather seemed fine enough (read: sunless + heavy cloudcast + slight sprinkling afterward) for an afternoon dip, so that was exactly what I did. Still sucky with my strokes (which are laughable), but couldn't be bothered much; just enjoyed lying in the water on my back and paddling along ever so slowly with my legs/feet...

Even though I kinda vowed to abstain me-self from "before-and-after-lunch" snacking in da office, there are some things that I simply can't git ma hands off! Sssomebody ssstop me!!

DIY (Dye It Yourself)

Temporarily got rid of my unsightly white hair with this Revlon ColorSilk dye (dark mahogany brown). Cost only $9.90 and took only 30 minutes. Saved me a trip to the salon and some money from my pocket ;-)

It's Freezing!

Make no mistake, Singapore's clime has been hyper-erratic as of late. But one thing remains rather constant - the Reykjavik-ish temperature inside our office that causes this proofreader to lose feeling on his fingers and toes. Behind me is OLM in her green cardigan, another 'frostbite victim'.

My First Day in Bidor

After our cross-country coach SE Super unreliably broke down along the highway, good-hearted townsfolk gave us an early morning ride to the main street of Bidor, where we waited for a just-awoken WY to fetch us home. Now, that's the kampung spirit sorely lacking in Singapore!

A nice and fitting Timberland - I was about to say 'Timberlake' (LOL) - T-shirt that's built on New England heritage, or so it reads. And 1973's also close to my birth year. Plus, the 100% organic cotton's really comfy, so, THANKS AGAIN, SIS!

Gip Act Chain 2

Had our company's pre-Christmas buffet dinner/gathering at Furama City Centre's Tiffany Café & Restaurant. Nice ambience, great food (chocolate fondue)! For my first ever gift exchange exercise in SAP, I received a $20 TANGS shopping voucher from Ms. Jane Lim (which was $5 over-budget)! Muchas gracias!

My 'Birthday Suit'

I'm no nudist, aiight? This is my new purple (appears more like blue here) wrinkle-free Renoma shirt that I got for my birthday, which I plan to wear to work tomorrow :-D Also love zee cat-themed paper bag that came wizzit. Meow!

Premature Celebration II

Anytime's a good time for steamboat. So even though my barfday won't be arrivin' 'til Nov 24 (note it down, peeps!), it's already been prematurely celebrated.
The joint we patronized was this newly opened Chongqing No. 1 (or sumfin' like that) along New Bridge Road. 2nd-rate food & service at best, but - hey - mom's treat :-D
