Yogi Poh

The "well-deployed" Mr. Goh, as described by the 'Eveel' Eugene, celebrated his 37th birthday yesterday - with hundreds of wishes pouring in from his students. His Facebook wall was literally plastered!

Premature Celebration II

Anytime's a good time for steamboat. So even though my barfday won't be arrivin' 'til Nov 24 (note it down, peeps!), it's already been prematurely celebrated.
The joint we patronized was this newly opened Chongqing No. 1 (or sumfin' like that) along New Bridge Road. 2nd-rate food & service at best, but - hey - mom's treat :-D

Otanjou-bi Omedetou!

Mastermark's (erstwhile?) employee attains the auspicious age (hush!) and continues to take after Ho Yeow Sun in the looks department. Here's wishing the Jack Russell owner every success in life!

Daniel Turns 52!

Our former (and first) Finance Manager celebrates his birthday today. Mr. Ang's youthful demeanor and easy-going disposition has won him many a fan in SYTs he had the pleasure of teaching. Or perhaps it's his knack for 'management impersonation' and that involuntary 'Mandible Claw' that prove to be a real lady-killer.

The Black Box

...contains the decapped head of Tracy Mills, a promised special souvenir from dirt-poor cobbler Adolf Dassler when he pledged his allegiance to the Wehrmacht. No, just jesting! It's actually my premature burfday present :-D

Age Is Just a Number?

Am I only entitled to one birthday wish? Can I drink Pepsi and ask for more? I want:
(1) A Nokia N810 Internet Tablet WiMAX Edition.
(2) Flat screen LCD monitors (doesn't matter what brand) for home and work use.
(4) New pairs of socks and briefs.
(5) A piping hot bowl of souped mee tai mak (with lots of dong cai, pepper, soy sauce and cut chilli padi).

Super Ultra Belated Birthday Present

By the time I give KLSD this Doraemon 'Shake Massage Pillow' from More Than Words, it may have already been Christmas - or, worse, New Year. By then, she may have even sold her car! This is the problem with constant postponement. (Oh ya, has anyone heard of the lame 小 叮 当 teaser from Taiwan? Ask me and I'll tell you :-P)

A Can of Shirt??

"Remove collars, shorten sleeves and eliminate buttons... In an enthusiastic rhythm, the temperature rises so as to wear out the whole summer. Put aside the trivialness and bondage of the city... Sexy, or decadent, or Hip Hop, or Punk... Therefore, simple and connotative clothing is used to decorate them. T-shirt expresses our intrinsic desires, which means persistence and individuality and is also the expression of a life attitude."

Ed: Well, never could understand those Japanese blurbs. Anyhoo, thank you Ke Li Si Ding for the innovative present!

Sweet Gestures

Mango-flavored mini-cake (mm...) Madie bought me this morning. So very sweet and thoughtful of her, I say. Blew out the candle, finished the cake and kept the plastic 'Happy Birthday' sign as a souvenir, of course :-)

Special thanks also to (colleagues): Leonie (my dear da jie, for her lovely present), Leslie (for her wonderful e-card and for getting the company cake for everyone hehe), Caroline (for 're-imbursing' my Time Out chocolate bar haha) and udders!
