Senior J hasn't been a particularly happy camper as of late. His left ear's giving him (and us owners) problems again. Under the circumstances, which details needn't be delved into, the displeased patriarch has no choice but to don a collar and be put on another course of antibiotics. Get well soon!

The Taming of a Minx

Every cat owner should know that kitties love to be massaged on the back of their necks. There's a large area of 'loose' flesh that can be 'grabbed' without causing pain - and it's precisely this Archilles' heel that allows a minx like Mandy to be tamed. See? It works!

Quite a bit, eh? Palpably, this lil' flirt had been wrecking too many homes in the feline community that Bast the Egyptian Goddess of Cats - finally buay tahan - was left with no other choice but to turn her into atomic number 29. Aww...not true!

He Purrs

All my three cats - Jerry, Hogan (pictured) and Mandy - have the habit of purring. No doubt that all domesticated cats do (as a display of contentment or anxiety), but Ah Gan - in particular - is fully capable of setting off the 'soliciting purr'. At least he doesn't knead much anymore.

So there you are, our favorite neighborhood stray! You really got us (me and mom) worried sick because we thought you'd gone missing. Worse, we thought something unpleasant (abduction, accident, etc.) had befallen you. Good to know you're safe and sound - and only relocating to the opposite end of our block =^_^=

In the Sun

This is the only time Uncle J and his 'sibs' get to soak up some sun - when we open the door to our access corridor outside in the evenings and on weekends. Funny how 'domesticats' loathe H2O and love Vitamin D (despite their thick coats of fur). Does heatwave help to kill fleas? Would they like some Coppertone® to go with it?

Beo Crescent's most coquettish cat and JHM's biggest threat, Mrs. King (a reusable arbitrary kitty name since Tanjong Pagar), taking her stairwell slumber presumably after Mdm Tong's early morning treat. Be careful of narrow steps and nasty stompers!

Chair Choper

Bent on securing the best seat in town for the ironically felinized inter-pretation of Broadway's CATS hours before showtime, but can't seem to beat the sweltering heat nor the abominable z monster.

Hogan in the Middle

It's not easy being the middle child. Just ask Malcolm. Same goes with pets. Whilst Uncle Jerry's most respected and Princess Mandy's most doted upon, Hogan Somebody (he doesn't even have a birthday!) is often neglected. Gotta sayang him more!
