I'm no cultivar connoisseur, so of course I can't tell a 'Sultan' from a 'Mountain Cat King'. At least I won't describe eating durian as "eating sweet raspberry blancmange in the lavatory" like British novelist Anthony Burgess did.

This fruitseller @ Carrefour's perishables section was appearing positively bored when I passed him by. So did I pick up a pineapple or pitaya from him to make his day better? Nah. I merely wondered which poor army recruit's green beret did he pilfer :-P

I suppose the mumster must've been terribly mistaken when she picked up a citrus × paradisi from the supermarket thinking it was a citrus × ​sinensis. No wonder it tasted bitter.
