Sin Cara

Hailed as a legend in lucha libre, Sin Cara (formerly and more famously known as Mistico in his home country of Mexico) has made his less-than-impressive debut in the WWE, botching entrances (with the trampoline) and aerial moves all over the mat. Much improvement needed?

WWE Draft

Smackdown! superstar Edge's premature retirement prompted the WWE to hold their annual draft lottery earlier than usual. Viewers of Raw would've known the results (i.e. various trades) by now. Only question is: Which brand will the debuting Kharma (FKA Awesome Kong) end up on?

Written in the Stars

The Georgia Dome in Atlanta exploded when 71,617 screaming fans packed the arena to its rafters and witnessed history made. The Most Electrifying Man in All of Entertainment, The Rock, made his presence felt and lived up to his promise to Team Bring It by getting physical at the conclusion of the John Cena-The Miz championship bout. Tell me that's not the best ending to this build-up?

Bam Bam Bigelow

Before he disappeared from the radar and subsequently died in 2007 from cocaine overdose, 387-pound Bam Bam Bigelow recorded an 8.8 on the Richter scale. That diving headbutt from the top turnbuckle was devastating for whomever laid below. Remember his valet/manager Luna Vachon?

Alberto Del Rio

I bet many of us hadn't even heard of his name until he pulled off the big one by emerging victorious against 39 other combatants at the 2011 Royal Rumble. But, still, who is Alberto Del Rio?

Are You TOUGH ENOUGH?

Kudos to whichever WWE creative team member whose brain juice crystallized into MTV's TOUGH ENOUGH, a reality-based program with wrestler wannabes undergoing real physical training - including mat and mic work - to become...well, pretty much nobodies in the main roster. John Morrison, in that respect, certainly got it lucky.

Gobbledy Gooker

In what must be one of pro-rasslin's worst and most malu + CMI gimmicks ever, the Gobbledy Gooker finally 'hatched' from an oversized egg (following months of anticipation) at the 1990 edition of Survivor Series and was immediately greeted with loud boos from the entire Hartford Civic Center. What were you thinking, Hector Guerrero?

The Age of Awesome

In case you haven't heard it from the top rope, Raw superstar The Miz (pictured) has cashed in on his Money in the Bank briefcase against 'The Viper' Randy Orton and is now, for the first time in his career, WWE Champion! Timing counts for everything!

Gene Okerlund

We all know 'Mean' Gene Okerlund as the fast-talking announcer-cum-commentator of the WWF/WWE who also conducted numerous backstage interviews with the likes of Hulk Hogan and his nemeses. But how many of us know (or remember) that this lifetime employee sang The Star-Spangled Banner at the inaugural WrestleMania in 1985?

Bobby Heenan

They don't call him 'The Brain' for nothing. Throughout his 40-year managerial career, one of professional wrestling's most distinguished (and yet detestable) personalities, Bobby Heenan, has masterminded the stellar successes of more bona fide superstars than today's Raw and Smackdown! rosters can boast or summon. Then again, they also call this WWE Hall of Famer 'The Weasel' for his cowardly (kayfabe) character and uncanny ability to draw heel heat onto himself by trash-talking.

Zeus

Tom Lister, Jr. may be best known as Deebo the neighborhood bully in FRIDAY, but did you know that he once had a brief run on the old WWF programming as the 'Human Wrecking Machine' Zeus, an unfazable monster heel who was impervious to pain? Pretty embarrassing.

Goldust

Dustin Patrick Runnels, better known as Dustin Rhodes (son of Dusty and half-brother of Cody), debuted in the World Wrestling Federation fifteen years ago and forever changed the face of this sport. Garbed in black and gold, the Hollywood-lovin' and movie quote-spoutin' cross-dresser was a master of mind games. And after you've seen and heard it all, you’ll never forget the name...(*deep inhalation*) Goldust.

The Hart Dynasty

The pink-and-black attack lives on as third-generation PW stable The Hart Dynasty follows in the footsteps of the legendary Hart Foundation - and, damn, those are plenty big shoes to fill! Constituting the current Unified WWE Tag Team Champions are Tyson Kidd (left), Natalya (center, daughter of Jim 'The Anvil' Neidhart) and David Hart Smith (right, son of the late 'British Bulldog' Davey Boy Smith).

Wade Barrett

Winner of the first NXT season, this pro-rassler from Manchester, England, wasted little time making his presence felt when he and the other NXT rookies (now known as The Nexus) invaded Raw's main event and attacked John Cena like a pack of hungry wolves. Opportunists!

Million Dollar Belt

Painstakingly forged by Ted DiBiase's designated goldsmith in 1989, this unsanctioned championship, which is gold-plated and made with cubic zirconia, has found itself around the waists of only an 'elite few' - the Million Dollar Man himself, his son Ted DiBiase, Jr. and longtime bodyguard Virgil.

Ring of Honor

As far as professional wrestling promotions go, Ring of Honor (ROH), founded in 2002 by ECW videographer Rob Feinstein, is the third largest following WWE and TNA. What I can't wrap my head around is why someone who once championed extreme combat is now decreeing a 'Code of Honor' (i.e. no sneak attacks, outside interference or harming the officials). Is this still sports entertainment?

Sheamus

Formerly a trainee at WWE's developmental territory FCW, Irish grappler Sheamus O'Shaunessy's biggest breakthrough came last December at the TLC PPV when he upset John Cena to pick up his first ever WWE Championship. Though he'd since lost the title strap to Triple H, this (distinctively pasty) 32-year-old's still primed for bigger pushes on the card.

WM XVI Came & Went

Fantasia Barrino belted out 'America the Beautiful', Yoshi Tatsu won a 26-man battle royal, Jack Swagger is Mr. MITB, Bret and the entire Hart family screwed Vince, Undertaker went 18-0 and ended Shawn Michaels' career, and 72,219 fans broke the attendance record for the University of Phoenix Stadium.

NXT

While we understand the need for sports entertainment to reinvent itself from time to time, must WWE replace a well-recognized brand like ECW with the experimental NXT? Will Daniel Bryan and Justin Gabriel pull in more advertising dollars for SyFy than The Sandman and Tommy Dreamer?

Natural Disasters

The colossal teaming of Earthquake and Typhoon (formerly Tugboat) weighed in at a combined 852 lb and recorded 10 on the Richter scale, but - with all due respect to the 1x tag team champions - that running seated senton (with the receiver lifting his chest up a little to sell the impact of the move) looked plain silly.
