Lo-Pan

If you ask me, (David) Lo-Pan (played by James Hong) from BIG TROUBLE IN LITTLE CHINA is one of those enduring cinematic creeps that becomes more eminent with time. Exasperatedly described by the swaggering Jack Burton (Kurt Russell) as a "ten foot tall roadblock", this mystical sorcerer supposedly hails from the Qin Dynasty, yet resides in '80s San Francisco and speaks 'orientalized' American English. It's really hard to explain!
