Elmo

This cute & cuddly red monster made his first appearance on Children Television Workshop's long-running edutainment program SESAME STREET more than two decades ago.

Today, he's one of the syndicated show's most popular Muppet characters, alongside mainstays Big Bird and Kermit the Frog.

Right, I may be no fan of Elmo's, but I wouldn't mind giving this lil' fella a *big hug* (that is, provided he doesn't find the gesture a tad ticklish)!
