This Is the LV Life

Once considered an upmarket designer label (Audrey Hepburn and Ivana Trump both swore by it), the Louis Vuitton 'LV' monogram has since become synonymous with (hairdressing salon) aunties. I'm not sure if it's a case of imitation, but - and believe you me when I say I kid you not - I've seen 40-plus-year-old ah sohs and 50-plus-year-old ah sims carrying them to (1) wet markets (2) hawker centers (3) pasar malams (maybe that's where they get 'em from?) Still thinking of getting that LV bag?

The LV brand and any other expensive brand is totally cheapened in Asian due to fakes. I've seen an old lady carry an LV bag in Asian like a grocery bag to store her fruit and veg. If you actually paid a few thousand to tens of thousand dollar for an LV bag, you wouldn't use it as a grocery bag.
