Michelle Yeoh

Malaysian star Michelle Yeoh, like red wine, gets better with age. From her bygone modeling and beauty pageant days to hooking up with Jackie Chan on a couple of projects to her brush with death (while filming AH KAM and performing her own stunts), the hardworking Leo has always taken the road less traveled. Following the phenomenal success of CROUCHING TIGER, HIDDEN DRAGON, for instance, she passed on two MATRIX sequels to pursue her own labor of love, THE TOUCH. The latter was, of course, dubbed a dud by most, but I find the endeavor all too admirable. Hence, my utmost respect to you, Ms. Yeoh!
