You know, if I were a Z-grade director (think Ed Wood) making a shoestring-budget movie called THE MONSTER OF BLACK LAGOON, I would float a few mini model ships around the fountain and have my DOP film the whole thing in a tight-frame close-up. Voila! We have ourselves a classic monster-rising-from-beneath-lagoon pre-sequence!
