Light 'em Up

I always feel that furniture like these are a waste of time - not to mention money. Sure, they look splendid in the showrooms, but do you think they'll suit your homestead? If you're like me and you're living in a modest HDB apartment, do you think a straw (or is it bamboo?) lamp/lantern like this will complement the rest of the furnishings? Also, think about the amount of dust it'll collect in time. That's a lot of work cleaning it up. Conclusion: Not practical.
