CAMPUS SUPERSTAR

Channel U's PROJECT SUPERSTAR spin-off has found a big fan in me. Compared to the 'real deal', CAMPUS SUPERSTAR is more light-hearted and its contestants (adolescents aged 13 to 18) are way cuter!
If tonight's debut episode is anything to go by, then I'm sure we can expect to see more bubbly personalities prancing on the stage while performing catchy numbers.
Of course, there's also the mandatory elimination process that makes reality talent quests like these so engaging.

AFTER ROUND 1...

HE'S TOP: Chen Yi Yuan (15) from Presbyterian High. Cool lad. Sang well. A little lacking in height, but has Sly potential.

HE'S OUT: Ho Chee Mun (17) from St. Andrew's Junior College. Crooned Jay Chou's An Jing (Quiet), but the judges didn't like it. I thought it was (cue Randy Jackson) aiight. Anyway, better luck next time.

SHE'S TOP: Geraldine See (17) from ITE Clementi. This girl has style. For my money, she'll win the whole thing. Go, ITE!

SHE'S OUT: Choo Siew Ping (15) from Guang Yang Secondary. But she's cute. And I'm sure she excels in her studies.
