Not since Diana Ser (AKA Mrs. James Lye) has MediaCorp TV secured the services of someone as linguistically adroit as Michelle Chong (who in this makeover shot is a splitting image of STAR IDOL hopeful Leann Koh). Described as "quirky and quick-witted" on Channel 8's celeb bio site, the bilingual beauty has an uncanny ability to straddle acting and hosting. I've seen the former MediaWorks Channel U artiste take on challenging roles in both the big and small screens, and have been much impressed. When it comes to hosting, Michelle has certainly held her own against the region's creme de la creme - having emceed such major events as Miss Singapore Universe 2004 and Countdown 2005.
