Indoor Tanning

What do they use for indoor tanning? Ultraviolet light? What do you do inside the coffin...pardon me, tanning bed? Meditate? Call me a chicken, but I find this stuff all too scary. Maybe it's because I saw FINAL DESTINATION (forgot which installment), but getting trapped inside one of these confined spaces isn't the least funny. Why don't we just head out to the beach, instead??
