A Chinese Funeral
I'm fuzzy about the rites and rituals associated with Chinese funerals. I know family members must be present – often taking 'shifts' – at the wake, which usually involves a lot of chit-chatting, mahjonging and paper ingot folding. On the eve of the actual procession, Buddhist monks / Taoist priests will be invited to chant verses from the scriptures and it's also during such times when JHM will be pricking up their pointed ears.
