This Was Just the Appetizer...

For starters (pun may or may not be intended), The Manhattan Fish Market's $9.90 Fried Country Mushrooms more or less lived up to its "must-try" status. Crispy outers with encased juicy inners are attributed to that "special batter" used, but beware of 'blanching your nib' because these steamy shrooms must be enjoyed s-l-o-w-l-y. Shall try their Garlic Butter Mussels next time :-D
