Desolation

Singapore is facing a rapidly aging population. There's nothing much we or our concerned ministers can do about it; this is a social problem that stems from education, family planning and - yes - healthcare.

Soon, we'll be seeing more of such desolate old-timers hanging around our HDB estates - some of them sadly abandoned by their families and left to fend for themselves.
