Boys' Brigade

Is Boys’ Brigade still a popular option among sec. sch. kids when it comes to selecting CCAs? Back in my time, when it was known as ECA, we had to pick a uniformed group (e.g. NCC, NPCC, etc.) and non-uniformed group (e.g. ELDDS, Interact Club, etc.) ECA to join. Of course, I didn’t opt for any – and was eventually ‘forced’ (by my Form Teacher) to align myself with the gynic Gardening Society. (*Grrr*)
