Director Showcase 1: Quentin Tarantino
Equally praised for his filmmaking techniques (such as nonlinear storylines and stylized violence) and criticized for blatant plagiarism (not to mention those racial epithets), self-invented indie auteur and Palme d'Or recipient Quentin Tarantino, nevertheless, remains one of my most revered directors in Tinseltown.
Of his work, I didn't see RESERVOIR DOGS (1992), loved PULP FICTION (1994), liked JACKIE BROWN (1997), loved KILL BILL (2003), and hated DEATH PROOF (2007).
Maybe I should rent the first?
