I have this 'fair-weather affinity' for former MediaWorks artiste Jeanette Aw. Note that I didn't refer to her as 'MediaCorp artiste' because - funny - I can't seem to locate her anywhere under the company's radar (I tried looking her up amongst Channel 8's 45-strong stable of female artistes, but she wasn't listed there). Could she be contract-based? In any case, don't sell short her academic credentials; the 27-year-old Cancerian, whose real name is Ou Yanping (Ou Xuan's only her stage name), hails from such distinguished schools as Raffles Primary, Crescent Girls, National JC and NUS! Brains AND beauty??
