Do Not Waste Water

Some 'water conservation' tips as proposed by Singapore's PUB (serious as a heart attack):
(1) Use a half flush for flushing of liquid waste. (The words 'liquid waste' just turn me off!)
(2) Do not allow toilet cisterns to overflow. (I have no idea what that means...)
(3) Do not use the toilet's water closet suite as a trash basket. (Now, why didn't we think of that earlier?)
(4) Wash dishes in a sink of water. (As opposed to what?)
(5) Wash vegetables in a sink of water. (The same one??)
(6) Do not thaw frozen food under running water. (So we should just hit them with a hammer?)
(7) Wash your clothes every other day if you do not have a full load. (No way.)
(8) Wash your clothes with full load only. (Repetition?)
(9) Reuse the rinse water from your washing machine to mop floors. (No way!)
(10) Turn off taps when not in use. (Oops!)
