Russian Dolls

A family of Matryoshka (AKA Mатрёшка or Mатрешка) dolls dwelling at Firdaus' workstation. 3There's mommy Anastasia, auntie Vera, eldest daughter Galina, second daughter Dominika, and baby daughter Eva. Daddy was unfortunately killed in the 1986 Chernobyl nuclear disaster. Sob sob. As a kid, I remember watching this children's television program (was it SESAME STREET?) that featured these handcrafted nested (or stacking) dolls and feeling intrigued by them. What about you?
