Fu Dao

The Chinese believe in hanging the 福 sign upside down (correctly spelled as 'dom-balek' in Melayu?) because fú dǎo sounds similar to fú dào, which means arrival of happiness. Yes, we're a superstitious bunch, but sometimes it's best to abide by tradition.
