35 chicken + 5 duck satay sticks - sans ketupat - for $6.00 at one of the 10 open-air (and literally roadside) atap stalls parked outside Raffles Quay's Lau Pa Sat (AKA Telok Ayer Market). Not the worst of its kind, to be sure, but at least one shouldn't have agreed hastily under the unabated hustling of Handsome Earphone Mat. Sheesh!
