Old Cucumber Soup (OCS)

Definitely one of my most favoritest 'unker' (as AXYL would so gleefully put it) dishes. Haa! I don't know why, but somehow soup plus rice (in general) equals 'gusto clincher'. Hey, works for me all the time. And it sure as heck doesn't hurt that lao huang gua - with its pulpous flesh and then some - also happens to be such an appetizing brew item. Any other followers?
