AMERICAN INVENTOR

Surfing the handful of F2A channels (since I don't subscribe to cable) late one 'exerciseful' night, I stumbled upon this unheard-of program called AMERICAN INVENTOR - a reality show in the vein of AMERICAN IDOL. (In fact, Simon Cowell was listed as one of the executive producers alongside creator Peter Jones).

Among the many fledgling Thomas Edisons who came to audition - yes, there was a panel of judges - were a prickly dame with her diaper sheets, a monotone quadriplegic with his hook floss and a self-righteous Chink with his life-safer. Interesting, to say the least.
