Nian Nian You Yu

On the seventh day of the Lunar New Year, the Chinese believe in eating this 'delicacy' called yusheng, which consists mainly of raw (salmon) fish mixed with shredded vegetables and a variety of sauces + condiments. Now, I know it's supposed to symbolize all things good (like abundance and prosperity), but the idea of eating raw fish just irks me. Same reason why I don't go for sushi or sashimi.
