Boring Looking Structure Part Deux

Why's this thing so flimsy looking? I've never seen a wall so wafer-thin before - have you? I bet if King Ghidorah (who/what?) was rampaging the metropolis, he'd walk right through it. What was the architect thinking when he designed this building? And why am I yammering so much?? Must be male PMS!
